Leigh Jaunsen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Named Managing Partner

From a 10-year-old Junior Olympic Synchronized Swimming Champion, to a contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, to Managing Partner of Dale Partners, Leigh Jaunsen, AIA, LEED AP, has always been viewed as a leader by her peers. “And that is what we are asking her to do now, commented Doug Dale, AIA, President of Dale Partners. "My partners and I have asked Leigh to serve as managing partner as well as continue working with clients and providing design services.”

Jaunsen joined Dale Partners in 2004 and was promoted to manager of the firm’s Biloxi office in 2006. She opened the Biloxi office and her focus was to help rebuild the Mississippi Gulf Coast. From the Pascagoula Riverfront, the Biloxi Shuckers Stadium and Biloxi Visitor’s Center, to the Bay St. Louis Harbor, Jaunsen worked with local stakeholders to bring the Coast back and better than ever by enhancing tourism through many high profile projects.

In 2013, Leigh was asked to become one of the partners at Dale Partners. Jaunsen is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a LEED-accredited professional. She is a member of the United States Green Building Council and is a partner in our firm. Jaunsen is past president of the Ocean Springs Rotary Club. In 2015, Leigh was recognized as one of the Top 50 Leading Business Women in Mississippi by the Mississippi Business Journal.

“I am honored my fellow partners have given me this position,” commented Leigh Jaunsen. “Dale Partners continues to grow, along with its sister firms Dale|Bailey, an Association, and Eley|Barkley|Dale, an Association. I will oversee the day to day firm operations, while my partners and I continue to serve clients nationwide.”

“We are thrilled that Leigh has agreed to serve in this capacity,” furthered Jeff Barnes, AIA. “As we continue to grow, we are creating a more cohesive firmwide culture.”
