SUMMARY:
Dale Partners provided full architectural services and MEMA/ FEMA coordination for this new community center and public library close to downtown Biloxi. The community center side of this new facility features a large ballroom that can be subdivided with operable partitions into three separate spaces with back-of house facilities to support various events such as conferences, concerts, trade shows and Mardi Gras balls. The exterior is stucco over concrete masonry units with impact-resistant windows, and the ballroom is constructed with long span steel trusses. A 12,000 SF courtyard provides a space for outdoor events for both the library and the civic center.
