SUMMARY:
Southern AgCredit, a land bank, works to finance life outside the city limits. Their new Ridgeland, Mississippi headquarters reflects this outdoor aspect of their business, goals and corporate ideals. The headquarters' exterior expresses their deep tie to the great outdoors with rich earth tones, heavily textured brick, steel trellises and copper accents. Exterior walls combine brick and a glass curtain wall with laminated acoustical glazing that mitigates traffic noise from the adjacent interstate. The 10,000 SF event yard offers Southern Ag's customers, and the community at large, a place to congregate, socialize, and celebrate. Inside, brick and wood floors, wood wall panels and and plank ceilings with heavy wood beams continue the rustic theme. Of note are two interior gathering spaces, the Ag Cafe and the "Social Hub", which both offer patrons and staff a variety of communal areas. Offices and swing spaces are light-filled, airy, and full of technology, with impromptu conversation areas sprinkled through out.
